If you are looking to achieve a substantial change in shape, volume, or projection, a surgical Brazilian butt lift may be more suitable.
Ideal candidates have realistic expectations for the results from a non-surgical BBL, are at their ideal weight, and are healthy overall. This treatment may also be a good option for patients who do not have enough body fat for a traditional fat transfer BBL or who may prefer a non-invasive approach to contour the body.

Types of non-surgical BBL treatments
A non-surgical BBL uses biostimulator injectable cosmetic fillers, typically Sculptra or Radiesse, and sometimes Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers to add volume and shape to your bottocks. During your consultation, we will create a personalized treatment plan with recommended products to achieve your goals.

The most common filler used for non-surgical BBL procedures is Sculptra, which is made from poly-L-lactic acid. When injected, it stimulates natural collagen production in the skin, which works over time to naturally plump your buttocks and improve elasticity.
Radiesse is a filler made from calcium hydroxyapatite, which acts as a scaffold to stimulate collagen growth to provide structure and shape. Radiesse gives instant volume and results will continue to improve as your body builds new collagen.
Expectations
What to expect throughout your non-surgical BBL procedure
During a non-surgical Brazilian butt lift, our medical team will thoroughly clean the area and apply a topical numbing agent. We will then gently inject the specially formulated fillers just below the skin in carefully mapped out areas. The procedure takes about 30 minutes to an hour in total.
Patients typically require multiple rounds of injections over multiple sessions to achieve results. We will work with you to schedule sessions for the most effective results.

Results and recovery process
There is no downtime after a non-surgical BBL procedure. You may experience some swelling, bruising, and tenderness; most patients find that these resolve within a few days. You are able to resume your normal activities and return to work immediately after your procedure.
Depending on the type of injectable used, you may see instant volume following your treatment, or it may take a few months for the results to start taking shape as the fillers settle and collagen grows over time. Typically, it takes about three to six weeks for results to begin to appear after your first Sculptra or Radiesse treatment. Results can last up to two to three years. After that, you’ll need to book follow up treatments to maintain the results.

Most patients need around two to three sessions over several months to achieve their desired volume. It’s important to note that a non-surgical BBL will never be able to achieve the same level of volume as a traditional surgical BBL.
There is little to no downtime for non-surgical BBLs. Most patients can resume normal activities shortly after the procedure, although some may experience slight swelling or bruising that typically resolves within a few days.
You can get a natural look through a non-surgical BBL, which uses filler injectables to create a rounder, fuller contour.
Radiesse, Sculptra, and hyaluronic acid fillers are safe for butt augmentation when administered by a qualified professional. Although these fillers are FDA-approved for various uses, their use for the buttocks is an off-label application. Silicone fillers are NOT FDA-approved and have serious long-term complications.
Results from a non-surgical BBL typically last up to two years on average, depending on the type of filler used and the patient. Hyaluronic acid based fillers tend to last around 12 to 18 months, while Sculptra and Radiesse may last up to two to three years before you need another treatment.
