Rhinoplasty Before and After

Rhinoplasty, or a “nose job” nose is a surgical procedure that reshapes the nose to address various concerns, including nose size, shape, and symmetry. By carefully reshaping the nasal structure, patients can achieve a more refined look and balanced facial profile. We offer open and closed rhinoplasties, or revisions, depending on the changes that are needed. View before-and-after photos of our rhinoplasty procedures below.

Rhinoplasty FAQ

You may be a suitable candidate if you are in generally good health, have a completely developed face (typically between ages 17 and 22), and do not smoke.

Most patients take one to two weeks off work, depending on their job and how fast they recover after surgery.

You may get dark bruises around your eyes after rhinoplasty due to the disruption of blood vessels while the nasal bones were altered. This is temporary and typically resolves within one to two weeks.

With closed rhinoplasty, there are no visible scars since incisions are made inside the nostrils. Open rhinoplasty may leave a small, discreet scar under the columella that fades over time.

You’ll be able to get an idea of what your new nasal contour looks like within a few weeks as swelling subsides, but it can take up to one year to see final results, when your nose is completely healed.

You can typically return to the gym three to six weeks after nose surgery or once your surgeon clears you for exercise.

You should avoid blowing your nose for about two weeks after rhinoplasty, as the pressure can cause complications and interfere with healing.
