Fillers Before and After
Injectable fillers are treatments designed to add volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. At our office, we use hyaluronic acid-based fillers like Restylane to restore volume in areas such as the cheeks, lips, and under-eye hollows and to soften lines around the mouth and nose. Fillers provide immediate plumping and smoothing effects and results can last several months to over a year. See below for before-and-after photos of our filler patients.

Fillers FAQ
Dermal fillers can last anywhere from several months to several years, depending on the type of filler used, the area treated, and the patient. Hyaluronic acid fillers typically last between 6 to 18 months. Areas in the face with more movement, such as the lips, will break down the filler quicker than other areas, such as nasolabial folds.
Dermal fillers typically contain substances like hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxylapatite, or poly-L-lactic acid, which help to add volume and smooth out wrinkles.
Fillers and Botox serve different purposes; fillers are better for adding volume to areas like cheeks or lips, while Botox relaxes muscles to reduce wrinkles.
Fillers are generally more uncomfortable than painful, and most people find the discomfort tolerable, though this can vary based on the specific treatment area and individual responses. We can use anesthetic ointment to numb the area and many fillers incorporate lidocaine to help ease any discomfort during the process.
Typically, you’ll need one or two sessions for initial Restylane treatments. After that, our team will work with you to set up a maintenance schedule based on how your body responds and your aesthetic goals.
