Brow Lift Before and After
A brow lift, also known as a forehead lift, is a cosmetic surgery that elevates the brow line and addresses concerns such as sagging or furrowed brows, an aged appearance, or forehead wrinkles. By lifting the skin and soft tissues of the forehead and brow area, a brow lift creates a smoother forehead and a more uplifted appearance, transforming your overall facial expression. Brow Lift FAQ
Good candidates for a brow lift are typically healthy adults who have visible signs of aging in the brow area, such as drooping brows, deep forehead lines, or sagging skin. Patients who smoke are unlikely to be good candidates.
Most patients are able to return to work about one week after surgery. However, if your work is more physically demanding, you may need to take more time off.
Since incisions are hidden behind the hairline, scarring is usually undetectable. Less invasive techniques such as an endoscopic brow lift leave minimal scarring due to the smaller incisions that are made.
You can typically see results within a few weeks, as swelling and bruising subside.
The results of a brow lift can last for many years. Over time, the natural aging process will continue, so while the initial results may be long-lasting, some changes may occur as you age. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and sun protection can help prolong the results.
